Who we are: UWA Toastmasters Club is affiliated with UWA and is part of Toastmasters International, a
non-profit organization that assists members to improve public speaking through local club meetings, training seminars and speech contests. Members include staff, students and residents in the local community.

What we do: We meet weekly to improve our communication skills in a friendly, relaxed environment. In our meetings, everyone participates! Roles rotate each week and include short planned speeches, mini impromptu speeches, constructive evaluation of speakers, and meeting facilita
tion.
When and where we meet: Our
meetings are currently held from 1pm-1:55pm on Friday afternoons in Room 2204 on Level 2 of Social Sciences South at the Crawley Campus of The University of Western Australia.

What happens when you start: Visitors are always welcome to be our guest for a few weeks before joining. This wa
y you can observe and participate when you are ready. Once you join, your joining fee entitles you to a selection of training manuals.You will also have opportunities for regular speaking practice at the club, and can attend training seminars and contests if you wish.

am. Everyone at Toastmasters is there for the same reasonto become better
